Mixing the Words "Healthy" and "Busy"

Trying to find healthy, low-calorie food when moving can be tricky.  I recently learned this lesson.

When you're moving, you're lucky to find a plate and a fork…much less something that's tasty, easy to prepare, and healthy.  That's why Noah and I were so thankful to have a few "convenience foods" that actually helped us stick to our New Years' Resolutions when we were moving a few weeks ago.


Jimmy Dean has a whole line of Delights that gave us the best of all three worlds:  delicious, easy to prepare, and diet-friendly.  Not only are these a great low-calorie option (all under 300 calories), but they pack a protein punch.  We were able to prepare them in the microwave for a quick breakfast in between packing boxes.  Super easy!


There is a huge line of Delights now - anything from Cinnamon Glazed French Toast and Turkey Sausage Griddlers to Canadian Bacon, Egg White, and Cheese Honey Wheat English Muffin.  There are all kinds of delicious, unique varieties!  Sometimes, convenience breakfast foods can be the same ol', same ol' - not this line.  You can really spice up your morning breakfast rotation without making prep work any more difficult.


Our Walmart had a great selection of Delights Sandwiches.  We chose the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Honey Wheat Flatbread - yum!  Only 230 calories per serving, and every bit of delicious.  The sweet honey wheat contrasted perfectly with the savory bacon.  It gave us energy for our move with a great source of protein and kept us on the dieting track, even when crazy busy!
